ID checks are now a requirement from our regulator (The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)). We run ID checks to ensure that the person who is ordering the treatment is who they say that are and also to ensure nobody from a protected demographic is ordering medication.
These checks are fully automated and do not require further information if you pass the check.
If you fail the check, a member of the pharmacy team will contact you via email and request a copy of photographic ID to ensure all information about your identity aligns with the information on your medical file.
If there are delays in us receiving your information, your order will be held until we receive the ID. If we do not receive this information within 5 working days, then your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded in full.
